White House national security spokesman John Kirby trashed a group of veterans in an email that was sent by mistake in error to Fox News on the anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
According to Fox News announced on Wednesday Kirby answered an email question from Fox about the criticisms of an organization of veterans concerning his Biden Administration’s disastrous 2021 departure from Afghanistan by accidently hitting “reply all” before disparaging the veterans.
Fox reported:
“Obviously it’s not worth responding. A “handful” of vets, indeed and the entire stripe of them,” Kirby said in an “reply to all” email chain on Wednesday afternoon. It appeared meant to White House staffers, but that did not exclude Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital had reached for the White House earlier Wednesday afternoon concerning the criticisms of four veterans which included Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla. Mills, who was adamant about Kirby for his remarks at the press conference which they claimed gave “cover” for the Biden administration’s decision to withdraw from 2021.

Kirby’s email was sent in error. He followed up with an Fox News Digital reporter, “Clearly, I didn’t realize you were on the chain.” Kirby sent the message during a trip with Biden, President of the United States. Biden to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
In the morning, Kirby pushed back against the House Republican document on Afghanistan withdrawal, blaming the former president Donald Trump for, among other things, having a dialogue with the Taliban and ignoring negotiations with the Taliban actually started during Obama’s administration, via Qatar. Obama administration, through Qatar in 2013 during Obama’s second year in his office.
Kirby retired from Kirby’s position in the U.S. Navy as a Rear Admiral. Kirby was a Pentagon spokesperson during the Afghanistan pullout, and was also involved in thirteen murders of U.S. service members in the ISIS-K terrorist attack in the Abbey Gate in August 2021.
